Quality Assurance Engineer  

The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for leading the initiative in establishing and implementing Social Light’s strict standards in product development. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Create, develop, and design procedures to test and evaluate software, software components, and infrastructure.
• Manage and operate issue tracking and testing systems.
• Monitor operations that affect quality of software.
• Cascade quality assurance tasks and supervise other testers.
• Ensure that software is operating within specifications defined.
• Collaborate with supporting team to accomplish project tasks.
• Research and develop new technologies / methodologies for testing software and software infrastructure.

• At least a Vocational Diploma, Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's / College degree in any of the following:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Engineering
    • Computer
    • Telecommunication
  • Science and Technology
  • Any equivalent course
• Preferably 3-5 years experience specializing in Quality Assurance or in an equivalent job.
• Experience in Project Management, Issue Tracking, and Automated Testing Systems are a plus.
• Strong analytical and planning skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
