Audit Officer | Tagaytay Based  

Generally responsible for providing assistance to the immediate head in handling assigned audit projects to ensure that a high level of professionalism, competence, and ethical standards are achieved/maintained.

• Customizes audit work programs based on overall audit work plan and results of walkthroughs and initial understanding of audit subject.
• Understands client business and risk management programs and provide appropriate audit services to meet client expectations.
• Keeps self updated on all work/ audit-related concerns e.g. Company standards, policies and regulations, industry trends, best practices, current events and latest developments by way of training and research.
• Closely monitors the progress of audit assignments/engagements.
• Notifies audit issues to managers on a timely basis.
• Executes audit procedures, reviews audit working papers and conclusions prepared by staff and performs the needed documentation presenting the audit results with complete evidence to support audit conclusions.
• Confirms initial findings with concerned Section Heads or client's staff.
• Prepares Items To be Discussed (ITD) during Closing Conference - complete with audit findings, implications, and recommendations.
• Evaluates performance of staff, provides guidance, training, and motivation as necessary to contribute to the growth and development of staff.
• Drafts audit reports and other forms of communication for information of management.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with the organization and audit clients.

• Certified Public Accountant.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical and planning skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Willing to be assigned in Tagaytay.
