Project Manager  

The Project Manager is primarily responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and completion of a project. He or She shall also be responsible for the planning and execution of Project Implementation strategies by working closely with concerned groups to ensure timely completion of the expansion projects.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensures implementing groups submit all as-built maps upon completion of project/s.
• Ensures smooth flow of plant extension/expansion processes by coordinating with concerned personnel from other Departments.
• Responsible for the efficiency of the cable construction process, including efficient installation of active and passive devices, activation and alignment of cable network in OSP and MDU projects.
• Coordinates and confers with Site Acquisition Managers regarding implementation schedules of Fiber, OSP and MDU new build and rehab projects.
• Analyzes problems encountered in Fiber, OSP and MDU Construction, recommends and implement solutions accordingly.
• Coordinates with the administrator/ developer regarding problems encountered during cable construction.
• Coordinates with the warehousing group and ensures timely release of construction materials.
• Coordinates closely with Contractors regarding problems encountered during cable construction and ensures that Contractors strictly follow all Construction and Quality standards.
• Coordinates with other departments to fast track project completion and resolution of any plant trouble caused by project implementation.
• Prepares email announcements on scheduled projects and advises concerned groups whenever there is a possible downtime as a result of project implementation.
• Provides support and guidance to staff to ensure proper and effective implementation of set plans and policies for the group.
• Monitors individual and group performance and adherence to standard operational practices and service level agreements with other departments of the company.
• Prepares group operational reports and provide feedback to immediate superior on current operational status, problems if any and corrective actions taken to resolve such.
• Coordinates with concerned groups regarding implementation concerns and projects status
• Implements company policies and regulations including safety and health in the workplace.
• Formulates and provides an efficient channel of communication with staff for the improvement of work processes and procedures.
• Conducts regular meetings with concerned project teams.
• Assemble key players in the project team.
• Delegates responsibility and task interfaces
• Works closely with internal teams to define project requirements, develop timeline, identify technical considerations, and designate areas of responsibility.
• Actively manages different aspects of projects by developing detailed project schedules, managing project scope, documenting change requests, facilitating project meetings, reviewing all project deliverables for quality and accuracy, maintaining project documentation and identifying project risk and develop mitigation and contingency plans where required.
• Facilitates technical requirements gathering, technical analysis and identification of key success metrics.
• Ensures timely activity integration and productivity of technical support and administer efficient use of resources.
• Escalates issues to the next level of management.
• Documents, obtain approval and track all changes in project parameters.
• Ensures all Work Orders are implemented as scheduled.
• Closes all project documentation and archive all relevant records.
• Attends to other projects and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

• Willing to accept a Project-Based Employment
• Must be Graduate of BS ECE, preferably licensed
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Cable Operations, Design, Construction and Project implementation
• Strong project management skills
• Action focused and results oriented
• Strong planning, organizing, communication and interpersonal skills
• With good analytical skills and keen to details
• Proficient in spreadsheet, word processing, PowerPoint presentation
• Very good in handling multiple projects with tight deadlines
• Can work under pressure, able to do multitasking
• Flexible and responsible leader; good in handling and training subordinates
• With valid Driver’s license
