Finance Billing and Collection Officer | Baguio  

The Regional Finance Billing and Collection Officer based in Baguio will monitors collection performance of all payment centers and provide the necessary marketing support. He or She will implements procedures in the safe and proper handling of billing and collection.

Responsibilities:

• Assists manager in ensuring compliance to standards and internal controls.
• Reviews and analyzes schedules and financial reports to ensure accuracy of the system’s Financial Statements.
• Reviews and approves requests for billing adjustments within the limit set by management.
• Manages receivables and implement procedures for the achievement of monthly collection efficiency targets (i.e. subscription revenues and ancillary revenues).
• Accredits all bill rendering and collection contractors and monitor their performance regularly.
• Coordinates with Operations Group and contractors on the implementation of disconnection activities.
• Performs review and audit of revenue transactions.
• Recommends improvement and implement collection strategies.
• Monitors and ensures timely implementation of rate changes on MDU accounts and collection efforts
• Manages SOA Rendering efficiency and billing related issues
• Performs other related services and administrative matters and other related tasks from time to time

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy; preferably a Certified Public Accountant
• With at least 1 year in accounts receivable management and billing systems
• Has strong analytical and management skills
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
