Finance Officer | Davao  

The Finance Officer based in Davao will provide support to the Finance Account Manager (FAM) in ensuring controls and financial concerns of the covered regional system/s are met timely and related success metrics are achieved.

Responsibilities:

• Handles analysis of Financial Statement Ratio and other financial results of the Division which measures profitability of projects, events and programs affecting the Business Unit/Division.
• Reviews financial impact resulting from product promotion, introduction of new/enhanced policies, and other projects affecting the Division.
• Submits within the agreed SLA the Financial Statement reports that shall include P&L analysis with supporting variance explanation and budget/reforecast comparison versus prior month and prior year.
• Reviews and monitors requests for payment, liquidations, and/or replenishments, cash advances and other related transactions. This includes monitoring submission of transmittal reports and coordination with the division for the resolution of the concerns and timely approval of documents.
• Assists in the preparation and review of the division's operating budget, GAEX and CAPEX and align with the Corporate or Consolidated Budget.
• Monitors implementation of audit recommendations provided by FAM.
• Participates in the discussion of internal audit findings and formulation of relevant recommendation to the division.
• Implements spot audits on the identified control weaknesses and submits relevant recommendation based on spot audit findings conducted.
• Performs financial statement related analysis, compute Financial Statement Ratio and provide necessary recommendation related to the supplier accreditation documentation.

Qualifications:

• Must be Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• With at least 5 years supervisory experience or with equivalent working experience in Financial Analysis, Accounts Management, Revenue Assurance and internal controls
• Has good knowledge in terms of General Accounting procedures and must be proficient in MS Excel
• Has strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Can handle pressure and shows willingness to address concerns of internal and external customers
