Network Operations Analyst Associate  

The Network Operations Analyst Associate has in depth understanding of basic electrical, electronics, CATV/BB and IP Network, Systems and Diagram. He or she will determine root cause analysis and correlation using NOC tools to resolve network and drop issues affecting service quality and availability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitors, manages and maintains the SKY NOC monitoring system and available tools and equipment (Audio/Video, OSP, Core Network)
• Responds to monitoring alerts, performs initial summary and escalates issues / outages to concerned group
• Handles plant trouble ticket from identifying or detection to handling escalation through to resolution
• Works on fault tickets effectively and efficiently through interaction with engineers in resolving service issues in accordance to the established process and procedures
• Monitors technician compliance, dispatched work order status and resolution information via dispatch Work Force Management (WFM) System
• Ensures WFM and major systems’ accuracy and real time updating for all handled work orders
• Determines root cause identification through available analytical tools and processes in order to resolve network and drop issues affecting service quality and availability
• Proactively monitors and identifies of network issues resulting to subscriber faults creation which originates from RF Network, IP Core, In-house network or fault creation system error
• Analyzes network performance data through trend analysis and reports
• Engages in ongoing education and certifications program provided by the company to support operational requirements and keeps one’s level at the cutting edge of the industry.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Engineering or related discipline
• Must be a Licensed Engineer
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in HFC and Telco operation; Open to fresh graduates with engineering license
• Has understanding in network topology, preferably with CISCO certification or any equivalent certificate
• Has background in cable/internet troubleshooting
• Computer literate and familiar with office applications
• Has good analytical skills and can work under pressure
• Willing to work in varied shifts and remains on-call on emergencies
