Training Manager  

The Training Manager is responsible for the professional and technical work in the management, development, coordination and presentation of company-wide training activities and programs. The key to success in this position is to ensure a company-wide focus on the continuous improvement on the following Key Result Indicators: Guest Service, Sales Building, Profitability and People Development.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
• Draw an organizational or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations
• Deploy a wide variety of training methods
• Facilitate effective induction and orientation sessions
• Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness and success periodically and report on them
• Manage training budget
• Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices

• Technical and Managerial Skills (store operations hands-on experience)
• Communication/Language Skills (ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and members of the general public)
