The Role: Bank Rates Associate - Data Researcher II

The Location: MSE Building, Makati, Philippines

The Impact: We provide high quality and timely data. Our Data Researchers perform the key tasks in data collection, maintenance and processing. We cater to the needs of both internal and external clients. Ensures the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data published in S&P Global products. Maintains a high level of subject matter expertise related to content set, including knowledge of internal applications and external products

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility includes phone calls to banks to gather interest rates
• strongPerform data entry updates on rate submission, web and call sourced jobs
• Other processes include 360s, initial collection, fee reports, geo research, and web watchers
• Fosters innovation by identifying enhancement initiatives that support our LEAN philosophy, Automation/RPA and Quality programs
• Reviews feedback involving their content to help correct errors and establish or refine procedures and processes to improve accuracy
• Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with quality and excellence
• Works within own team; may interact with other related teams. Works with supervisor and team members to understand processes and procedure
• Works with other related teams to complete tasks assigned to them. Will work within parameters and with supervision to ensure quality and performance to set standards
• Keeps up-to-date in knowledge of content sets. Builds industry knowledge.
• Increase learning by accomplishing Learning Xchange modules as well as modules for policy compliance
• Fosters innovation by identifying enhancement initiatives that support our LEAN philosophy, Automation/RPA and Quality programs
• Contributes to the achievement of personal and team objective

What We're Looking For:

Basic Qualification:

• Must have good to excellent communications skills
• Preferably 1 to 2 years’ experience working in the BPO industry
• Previous calling experience is an added advantage
• Must be willing to work in the Night Shift 9pm - 6am

• Strong focus on data quality, attention to details, process- and results-oriented
• Demonstrates excellent attendance and reliability
• Demonstrates flexibility during holidays and assists in special projects
• Tech-savvy
• Banking industry knowledge would not be required but will be an advantage
