Attorney III  

The Attorney III shall perform the following duties:

1. Perform legal work involving specific and limited fields/areas of law and provides advice on general legal matters.
2. Search for and read gathered materials and prepare reports on research, recommendation of interpretative opinion.
3. Prepare draft of opinions containing a statement of facts involved, the legal problems, the issues, a discussion of the applicable laws, the jurisprudence on the matter and the conclusion/opinion.
4. Provide legal advice during project development, contract negotiations, bidding process, project award, and implementation for PPP projects.
5. Review draft contracts, transactions documents and other documents required for PPP projects.
6. Attend meetings with Implementing Agencies and Transaction Advisors.
7. Provide administrative legal support to PPP Center.

Qualification Standards

Education: Bachelor of Laws
Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience
Training: Four (4) hours of relevant training
Eligibility: R.A. 1080 (Bar)

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies

Knowledge of the following subjects:

BOT Law, the Government Procurement Act and other related laws
Administrative Law, Civil Service rules and regulations, and other pertinent
issuances
Government Contracts and Jurisprudence

Demonstrated ability in the following areas:

Negotiation Skills
Group Facilitation Skills
Legal Research and problem Solving
Other skills analogous to the foregoing
