We are looking for both for web developers from all walks of life: frontend, backend, somewhere in the middle… It doesn’t matter as long as you are good at what you do, love doing it, and can get along with us.

Passionate people are everywhere. At Project Assistant, we get excited to collaborate and connect with people that love the online world as much as we do. Not afraid to be hands-on, you write code for open source web applications such as Magento and WordPress.

With your coding expertise, you drive strategy while fostering a community of developers who work at Project Assistant. Think critically about the best way to implement a solution not only from an engineering perspective but from a user experience perspective as well. We use SEO best practices when developing and therefore candidate is required to be familiar with those practices as well.

Responsibilities

• Development of W3C compliant designs from design comps
• Write clean code with good naming conventions
• Continually deliver assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Ongoing daily maintenance updates and additions from our current client base
• Make something cool
• Make it cooler
• And then make it the coolest thing you've ever made!

Qualifications

• Experience in either Frontend or Backend Web Development
• We require 2+ years of experience working in this field.
• Staying Agile
• CI/CD workflow

While we're not expecting the applicant to be an expert in all listed skills, you should show a strong grasp of some of the following depending on where you would like to work within our company (frontend/backend).

Frontend Development Skills
