Technical Documentation Writer  

The Technical Documentation Writer is responsible to produce high-quality documentation for the company's IT Department that meets the applicable standards set by the company and department. He/she shall also write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and develop guides for the on-going and future projects. In addition, he/she shall also test and document various projects and software applications as well as maintain the confidentiality of all organization's projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and develop guides
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
• Create diagrams and charts to illustrate concepts and workflows
• Write accurate documents (technical requirements and specifications for software developers).
• Create technical manuals for completed software applications
• Test the developed software applications.
• Document revisions of various projects.
• Maintain confidentiality of all organization and client information

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information System or any equivalent course
• At least 3 years of experience in technical writing for software and process documentation is preferred
• Has the ability to write in an explanatory and procedural manner that can be easily understood by multiple audiences
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills and has the ability to write, edit and review large and complex documents
• Must be familiar or has a working understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, PHP, Python and other web development languages.
