- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, collects payments (when needed), and grows new accounts by executing daily customer calls.
- Achieve sales consistency by creating and managing a sales pipeline.
- Schedule product demonstration with clients and follow up sales leads.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Monitors competition by gathering marketplace intelligence on pricing, products, new products, sales channels, etc.
- Recommends improvements in products, service, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Suggests potential new markets and products to management where applicable.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems and developing long term solutions.
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Generates teamwork by introducing customers to other Sales Reps or other divisions outside designated territories.
- Participate in industry trade shows, trainings and seminars to maintain professional and technical knowledge and network.
