Logistics Manager  

To lead a team in delivering a highly effective and efficient procurement, storage and distribution office on behalf of the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) with a focus on managing equipment, relief goods, materials, and vehicles.

• Facilitate the supply chain and overall distribution process of equipment, materials and relief goods across the PRC.
• Review and evaluate all aspects of logistics and develop improvement initiatives as required.
• Coordinate an efficient and timely procurement and distribution process
• Lead and coach the Logistics team.
• Ensure efficient and cost effective distribution of relief goods and equipment.
• Review and approve Purchase Orders, Requestion Requests and Comparative Table (Quote).
• Provide accurate and timely reporting regarding warehouse process and inventory.
• Manage warehouse inventory ensuring relief goods are prepared for small/medium/large scale disasters.
• Manages the purchase and/or disposal of fleet vehicles as required.
• Lead and manage the fleet team including drivers, mechanics and fleet staff.

• Minimum of 5 years' work experience in the fields of logistics and management of logistics teams in similar role
• Logistics experience with an humanitarian, NGO or similar organization preferred.
