Operations Center Assistant  

To provide support to the Operations Center team of the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) in monitoring all aspects of disaster and reported incidents

• Receive incoming calls pertaining disaster and incident report from PRC Chapters and record all calls in the executive dashboard management system.
• Monitor and log the reported disaster and incidents via television, radio, online, phone calls and etc.
• Assist the Team Leader in consolidating daily reports to update the PRC Chairman and Secretary General
• Coordinate with the Operations Team Leader/Officer to provide immediate action on reported emergencies
• Verify the report and information received by the Operations Center
• Collect statistical reports and chapter actual situation from the PRC chapter level during disaster, accidents and special events
• Oversee the Executive Dashboard and advise the Team Leader of any new inputs from the chapters.
• Gather reports from the responders during responses and ensure to account on the dashboard.

• A graduate of bachelor’s degree course
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft applications (Advanced Excel and Powerpoint)
• Knowledge in Basic Programming and basic computer troubleshooting is an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships within and external to the Philippine Red Cross
• Experience as a Philippine Red Cross staff member or volunteer preferred
