Sales and Distribution Officer | Davao  

Responsible for preparing, implementing, and evaluating sales and distribution strategies in promoting the vision and mission of the Philippine Bible Society. Evaluate business climate of key cities in the assigned area.

Responsibilties

• Prepares and develops Action Plan.
• Implements the Action Plan.
• Prepares reports resulting from the implementation of the Action Plan.
• Meet set monthly and yearly sales quota
• Recommends ways and means to meet sales quota by :
  • Opening up new markets/territories.
  • Enhancing sales of new and existing products.
  • Recommends new products based on market needs /feedback.
• Visit retail partners to discuss:
  • Areas of concern for both PBS and respective partner.
  • Ways of improving delivery of services.
  • Disseminate information on new products.
  • Better positioning of PBS products.
  • Increasing sales through creative use of promotion and advertising
• Provide feedback from churches, organizations and ministry partners about PBS products and services and recommends appropriate actions.
• Provides feedback on market trends and customer needs and wants.
• Helps identify threats from competitors (product, pricing and positioning).
• Identifies opportunities which will enhance PBS presence and position in the marketplace.
• Recommends and helps in the free distribution of Scripture products with the approval of the Resource Development Manager.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

• Must be resident of Davao City or nearby areas
• A graduate of Marketing, Management or an equivalent course
• With at least 3 yrs. of experience in Sales
• Computer literate
• Preferably knows how to drive
