Our writers and editors give voice to locals all over the world by breathing life into their recommendations. Your job is to use vibrant, succinct language to inspire wanderlust in our readers. You will also be in charge of editing, approving writers’ works, meeting deadlines, and training the writing team that will be under your purview to ensure the company’s targets are achieved.

Primary Responsibilities

• Edit, Write, and Research
  • Edit writing from other writers to meet Finds standards
  • Write pieces that follow Finds’ branding, tone, and style
  • Research on the specifics of each place you are writing about
  • Interview local resources and integrate their information seamlessly into your write-ups
  • Coordinate publishing cycle and manage content areas
  • Develop story, content ideas, or themes for travel itineraries, considering reader or audience appeal
• Manage and Mentor
  • Manage and train future writers to meet Finds standards
  • Help cultivate company culture—be there as a mentor to improve professionalism and productivity of team members who may join us fresh out of college
  • Elevate standards in the workplace to meet the demands and achieve goals set by the company’s international standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Creative Writing, Communications, or related courses
• Excellent command of the English language
• Professional or academic experience in writing and editing
• Excellent interviewing skills
• Interested in traveling and exploring cities worldwide
• Possesses work ethic and integrity that meet the company’s international standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in language/s other than English and Filipino
