Senior UX, Graphics, Layout Artist  

Join the Finds team in Manila, our #hq for content creation for our iPhone application! We’re a small, focused team of writers and creatives, who write travel recommendations for hidden gems and tourist attractions in several cities.

We follow a unique work style which allows you to set your own pace, in places which heighten your focus and creativity. However, we do place a high premium on clear, consistent communication throughout the day. We utilize many online, cloud-ready productivity tools to create an organized environment within which your work can blossom. Please expect to work with your own hardware, like cameras and computers, and to have your own software at the ready.

1. User Interface Design (App and E-mails)
   • Finds app follows a minimalist, clean design and aesthetic (“Scandinavian” design)
   • We have several system emails used for invitations and newsletters, and these also have UI elements for you to design
   • You’ll face the challenge of designing the consumer-facing interface of our iOS mobile app.
   • HTML, SKETCH, Adobe XD proficiency are important skills for coding emails and system templates
2. Graphic Design
   • Expect to learn and adhere to the specific style guide of Finds in graphical elements, too.
   • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
3. Print Layout Concept & Design
   • To conceptualize and design layouts for print collaterals/materials.
   • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
   • Has sufficient knowledge of the printing process and must know how to communicate with Printers.
4. Research for Writers
   • Each member of our team is involved in developing exciting travel itineraries, and we want you to find places both big and small to feature on the app.
   • Find important, curious historical details and attractions to share with our writing team- this helps create pieces which inspire wanderlust in our userbase.
   • Compile your sources! Our writers will use these as the reference for editing and be vetting their work.

Our small team works together with each others’ strengths in order to build and curate content for Finds. Writing and research is a large part of anyone’s role here, and will give you an advantage in your application.

• Preferably a graduate of Fine arts, Multimedia Arts, or any related course.
• 2-5 years of relevant working experience as a UI/Graphics/Layout Artist
• HTML, SKETCH, Adobe XD proficiency
• Intermediate to Advance Level in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
• Sufficient knowledge of the printing process and must know how to communicate with Printers
