MERCHANDISER

Based in Manila and reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for buying and cataloguing every single vintage item purchased by our team. Buying will involve having the responsibility of selecting the pieces to be sold on the website, and knowing which prices and conditions to purchase pieces at. Cataloguing will include accurate product name and description, measurements, price and the evaluation of overall condition. If you’re a tireless internet researcher, creative Googler and your fashion know-how has no limits, we’d love for you to be a part of the team!

Responsibilities include:

• Buying inventory
• Collaborating with Business Development for expansion of merchandise
• Monitoring market changes, competitor prices and products
• Analyzing past sales patterns to anticipate trends in consumer buying pattern
• Product Description / Copywriting
• Pricing
• Production of Benchmarks
• Monitoring competitors’ website content, marketing initiatives and product offering
• Assist with the planning and ideation of thematic campaigns

• Passionate about fashion and has in depth and intimate knowledge of luxury designer brands
• Must have exceptionally strong analytical and writing skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and can work autonomously with
• Minimal supervision to manage workload and ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Resourceful and self-starter
• Team player
• Basic knowledge of buying and merchandising, and pricing and margins
• Knowledge of Retail Prices, Second Hand Market Pieces, and Supplier Prices for Luxury Fashion
• Comfortable with using Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field is preferred; candidates with other Bachelor’s degree but with equivalent relevant work experience also welcome to apply
• Previous work experience as a fashion copywriter is a plus.
• 1-3 years relevant work experience
• Willing to work in Makati.
