Wordpress Developer  

Our company is searching for an experienced and reliable developer. You will be working directly with our team and will be responsible for performing a number of web development duties mainly with Wordpress. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, highly organized professional capable of managing their workload.

• Build custom or themed WordPress sites from scratch as per project requirements
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Perform browser compatibility assessments and testings
• Maintain websites including testing and identifying technical problems and troubleshooting
• Perform upgrades, maintain existing websites, and implement custom functionality
• Conduct any API integrations between different platforms
• Provide programming language help and support to other team members

• At least 2-4 years of experience with Wordpress
• Extensive experience developing websites using WordPress themes and custom for desktop and mobile
• Frontend development experience (PSD to HTML)
• Able to understand Wordpress admin (Ins and Outs)
• Have developed a whole site using Wordpress
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Ability to work autonomously with creative guidance
• Excellent organisation, problem-solving and time management skills

Bonus

• Ability to write plugins or some back-end knowledge would be looked upon favourably
• Knowledgeable with PHP/Laravel
• Understanding of web servers and how databases work
