Fraud and Risk Analyst  

As a Fraud and Risk Analyst, you ensure that all transactions done on the Paymentwall platform are secured and fraud is prevented for Paymentwall customers. On any given day, you monitor transactions real time, detect and investigate causes of actual or suspected fraud and non-compliance, provide timely feedback, and contribute to overall improvement of fraud management processes.

What you'll be doing:

• Review flagged orders on the internal system.
• Investigate any cases of actual or suspected fraud and noncompliance.
• Monitor and identify patterns within fraudulent activities.
• Evaluate effectiveness of and recommend improvements to fraud detection systems and strategies

To qualify, you must have:

• Bachelor's/College Degree in any field, preferably from a business, commerce, finance or related discipline
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; At least 1 year of experience in fraud prevention or risk management environment is preferred;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, can detect trends and unusual patterns;
• Capacity and willingness to work full-time in Makati City, on shifting schedules, including nights and weekends

A plus if you have:

• Knowledge and experience with tools and techniques used to identify and prevent fraud
• Previous experience in an online fraud prevention environment
• Knowledge of MySQL and programming background (PHP)
