Miêu Tả Về Công Việc
- Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, as well as benchmarking.
- Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
- Notify inventory controller of any variances or deviation in par stock.
- Review purchase requests and ensure approval is in place for large spend items before discussions and negotiations commence.
- Track all price changes.
- Keep aware of any unusual occurrences and significant deviations from standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide detailed specifications with bid sheets to vendors insuring aggressive bid prices from multiple approved suppliers
- Develop a reliable base of suppliers who provide good value, competitive pricing, and first class post sales service and support.
- Review current supplier arrangements and take responsibility for identifying opportunities to consolidate or renegotiate terms/
- Ensure quality is provided at the lowest possible price taking advantage of discounts and rebates.
- Research new products and closeout deals for cost of sales savings, aiding in budget reductions.
- Conduct on-site visits to supplier and audit programs.
- Collect compliance data as required by department or company
- Prepare cost reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Recommend improvements to the work processes as required/needed.
- Promote a positive work environment that contributes to increasing efficiency and productivity of the workforce.
- Continuously seek ways to improve her productivity, as well as her teams through upgrading of skills, cCoaching, counseling, etc.
Trình độ tối thiểu
- BS degree in Management, Business Administration, or any related course.
- 3-5 years experience as Puchasing Officer in a export industry.
- Excellent in negotiation and networking.
- Strong sourcing and vendor management
- Willing to work in Makati or BGC.
- Can start ASAP.
