The role of the Business Process Analyst is to design and improve the business processes of the clients’ organization through data gathering and analysis, business process documentation and implementation.
1. Data Gathering and Analysis - Conducts data gathering and analysis through process mapping, flowcharting and the like. - Interviews clients, resource persons and other relevant personnel to understand the current process and other areas of concern - Conducts data gathering by visiting various sites and observing actual activities done
2. Business Process Improvement Identification and Design - Reviews all documents relevant to the assigned Business Process Improvement initiative - Identifies areas in the business process for improvement and/or automation to ensure efficient, effective and economical results are achieved - Design proposed processes through policies and procedures and other pertinent documentations
3. Business Process Improvement Presentation and Implementation - Discusses observations and recommendations for process improvement with key stakeholders within the organization. - Guides all key stakeholders in the organization in the implementation of Business Process Improvement initiatives - Conducts orientations/workshops on Business Process Improvement initiatives with all concerned members of the organization
4. Reports - Provides timely and accurate updates on the status and action plans on the assigned Business Process Improvement initiatives
Trình độ tối thiểu
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering
- At least one (1) year work experience in the service industry (optional)
- Good oral and written communications skills, Good presentation skills
- Analytical Skills – involves analysing gathered data and observed processes as well as interpreting information provided by clients and key stakeholders.
- Communication Skills – works closely with clients and key stakeholders on the design and implementation of Business Process initiatives.
- Computer Skills – proficient in using computers and MS Office applications Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio
- Problem-Solving Skills – can think creatively of solutions to meet the client and key stakeholders’ business process concerns
