Quality Assurance Associate (Publishing)  

Basic Responsibilities:

The Quality Controller services the company’s editorial, advertising and marketing departments according to its requires standard of specifications, and ensures the high quality digital works of all One Mega Group Inc. titles. He also requests and monitors the department’s supplies. He consults with the Production Manager or Supervisor for any technical difficulties or problems during press runs.

Specific Responsibilities:

Editorial Servicing

• He is responsible for checking that all corrections from the editorial and art departments are inputted into the PDF file. This includes colors and other elements specified on the digital proof, signed by the editor and the art director.
• He is responsible for checking the printer’s digital proofs. (He uses the company’s internal digital proof as basis for proof reading in terms of color, elements and pagination.)
• He approves all the press runs of the Mega Publishing Group titles.
• He submits a monthly report of consumables to the Production Supervisor.

Advertising Servicing

• He is responsible in ensuring that all corrections from the Account Executives and Clients have been inputted.
• He is responsible for checking the printers’ digital proofs. (He uses the internal digital proof supplied/ signed by the Account Executive/ Client as basis for proofreading in terms of color, elements and pagination.)

Marketing Servicing

• He is responsible in servicing marketing collaterals. He shall only print marketing collaterals with job orders that are duly signed by the Production Supervisor.
