General Accountant  

The General Ledger (GL) Accountant will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting functions as to ensure accurate, complete and timely information are reported

Essential Functions:

• Prepares general ledger journal entries, balance sheet & P&L account reconciliations and analyses for areas assigned such as, but not limited to, PO accrual, Fixed Assets, recurring and non-recurring accruals, Prepaids and Other assets and intercompany transactions
• Maintain and monitor GL activities to ensure compliance with policies, procedures
• Assists in the analytical reviews of operating expense data by comparing monthly actuals to forecast to ensure that expenses are accurately recorded on a monthly basis. Prepares P&L per project
• Prepare audit schedules (bir audit or external year end) or management reports as needed
• Perform ad hoc analysis for Finance and Tax, and other inter-departmental teams as needed.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accounting, or any relevant courses
• Highly strong excel skills
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in multi-national company preferred
• Organizational skills and detail-oriented approach are required.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
