Back End Web Developer  

This is a very exciting opportunity for an experienced and savvy PHP developer to move their career to the next level. You will be working alongside top level developers and digital experts on the ongoing development of our platforms. This is a long term position with career growth opportunity.

You will be working on 3 interesting projects (ecommerce) built in Laravel and Fuel frameworks. These websites platforms are established and operational.

You must be able to understand wireframes, find and provide solutions and recommendations, structure the database relationship and develop the code structure. You will provide recommendation on the best solution and work with the front end web designers to best integrate the design into the framework.

You will also be able to pick up existing projects, go through the code, understand the code and be able to continue the development. You will be able to think strategically and use best practices at all times.

You must be organised, have good communication and understand time frames. You must able to provide clear and organise emails with updates and update our project management system. Agile methodology knowledge is a requirement once we run all our projects in Agile.

Experiences required:

• 3+ years PHP
• 3+ years MySQL
• Requirement framework: Laravel PHP
• Platforms preferred (but not required): Fuel, CodeIgniter, WordPress
• 3+ years HTML
• 3+ years CSS
• 2+ years JQuery
• 2+ years API integrations
• Git Repository
• Apache Stack (e.g: Mamp, Wamp)
• Good to have cPanel not a must, but an advantage.
• 1+ year Linux Server OS (CentOS, Ubuntu, CloudLinux)

Minimum 3 years experience as a web developer.
