Food Attendant  

The Food Server is responsible in setting the tables, assisting guests with their orders, and ensuring guests are satisfied with the food and service.

• Presents and explains the menu items in terms of preparation, ingredients and presentation to guests and upsells food and beverage items
• Maintains an up-to-date working knowledge of the menu items and daily specials
• Collaborates with bartenders to fill beverage orders
• Checks customer's identification to ensure they meet alcohol legal age requirements
• Coordinates with kitchen staff to process and expedite food orders
• Pre-sets and re-sets table for customers including decorations, condiments, napkins, utensils
• Maintains table setting by clearing courses as completed, replacing utensils, refreshing water glasses, dealing with spills
• Ensures that guest concerns, queries and requests are promptly handled

• With relative experience as food server;
• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
