Miêu Tả Về Công Việc
- Receives instructions from immediate superior by discussing and expounding on it to carry out tasks seamlessly.
- Assembles a computer system by installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners to address employee needs for such.
- Troubleshoots system and network problems by talking staff through series of actions, either face to face or over the phone to help set up systems or resolve issues.
- Maintains computer systems and networks by planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades, security and anti-virus precautions, repairing equipment and replacing parts when necessary to ensure that they run smoothly.
- Manages inventory by maintaining records of computer software licenses, stock of equipment, consumables and supplies to ensure adequacy.
- Maintains core company data by routinely backing up to facilitate safekeeping and retrieval thereof.
- Provides inputs to future IT strategy by keeping log of all IT problems and their resolutions, identifying bottlenecks and problems, making recommendations to solve them and keeps standard software and hardware recommendations under review to competently adapt to ever evolving IT and computer systems.
- Analyzes user project proposals by liaising with external support, if outsourced and identify potential problem areas to recommend optimum approaches for project path.
- Maintains confidentiality with regards to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network by setting up firewalls, security system, etc., and by being ethically inclined not to divulge any information except for official investigative purposes to protect the employees and the company’s value.
- Performs other functions which may be required by the immediate superior from time to time.
Trình độ tối thiểu
- A graduate of Information Technology or any 4 year computer course.
- With at least two years of work experience as an IT support.
