Accountant  

You will be responsible for financial and accounting matters of the McKinsey Jakarta office by providing highly technical analytical support to the finance & accounting function across a broad range of areas.

You will prepare tax returns and ensure that all tax requirements are met by liaising with corporate tax team and tax consultants to ensure compliance with prevailing tax regulations. Together with the external and internal auditors, you will provide support for tax audits, assist with preparation of financial related documents required for proposals to clients, maintain bank administration and interact with bank for overseas payments, prepare monthly reconciliations and support in monthly close.

You will also serve as liaison between local administrative personnel and shared service centres (SSC) by responding to colleagues’ inquiries on financial policies and tools and continue to seek improvement in work processes through automation and standardization.

• 4 years of university degree in finance field
• Minimum of 5 years finance and accounting experience in a multinational environment
• Strong command of English language

• The ability to grasp new applications/productivity tools (e.g. Lotus Notes)
