Architect  

We are looking for an architect or landscape architect we can work with for multiple projects in and outside Masungi Georeserve. At Masungi, we believe conservation goes hand in hand with sustainable development grounded on the unique characteristics and resources of an area.

We need energetic, creative and resourceful team to help turn our visions into reality, and share the learnings of Masungi Georeserve in other parts of the country.

We are looking not just to hire an architect, but a future leader in the sustainable development, innovation and conservation fields in the Philippines. This leader must not only design but be able spearhead projects and translate ideas into reality.

Sample tasks:

• Creating designs and plans for future developments in and outside the georeserve in the areas of conservation, tourism and recreation (good freehand is a plus)
• Supervising the development of these projects from concept to execution
• Presenting the designs and ideas to stakeholders
• Writing concepts, reports and proposals for decision makers
• Creating publicity materials to inform target markets of development

• Superior creativity and resourcefulness;
• A keen understanding of the environment, conservation, sustainable development, sustainable tourism and landscape;
• Knowledge of local materials and building techniques and natural environments;
• Project management and leadership;
• Writing and presentation skills;
• Strong freehand visualization and other visualisation skills;
• We are open to hire for either full-time, part-time or project-based.
