Maria engineering is building modern software to make healthcare easy for groups and individuals. Maria engineers are responsible for building web applications for both our customers and internal teams. As a software engineer, you’ll be writing code to make Maria Health even more awesome. On the way, you’ll be joining us in making architectural and software design choices.

Our Ideal Candidate
- Excited about building a health insurance company from scratch
- Experience developing rich applications with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Understands the full web stack (e.g. DOM, HTTP, cookies, headers, asset loading/caching)
- Has a keen eye for design
- Cares deeply about the user
- Enjoys working closely with product and design teams
- Writes code that is maintainable, reusable, and concise
- Is passionate and opinionated about the constantly evolving state of web standards and technologies
- Full-stack experience is a bonus
