Strategic
○ Form goals and objectives for the Account Management team
○ Anticipate client wants and new opportunities for Magic to grow in a data-informed way
Operational
○ Work with 5-10 accounts to drive success through initial on-boarding, product adoption, retention, and identifying value-add features
○ Provide business, technical, and product knowledge in support of post-sales activities in order to ensure customer happiness and the point of contact for client needs
○ Serve as customer advocate internally by effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams including operations, product, sales, marketing, and engineering.
○ Translate client needs into actionable SOPs and tasks for operational team to fulfill
Analysis
○ Provide monthly and quarterly reports on existing clients
○ Create new custom reports based on client interactions

- Tenacious and a strategic thinker with an ability to thrive in a dynamic, always-on, highly ambiguous startup environment.
- Organizational, project management, time management, and communication skills
- Problem-solving skills around technical, product, and business questions.
- Highly quantitative and a data-informed approach to problem solving
- Ability to build phenomenal relationships with senior-level and highly busy clients
- Strong competency in spreadsheets and presentation software
- Prior experience or familiarity with sales, marketing or customer service processes and software
- Ability to teach and mentor others
Education and Experience Requirements
- BA in Business Admin or relevant field
- 3-5 years of experience in a customer/client-facing role such as Customer Success Manager or Technical Account Manager
- Experience working in a startup environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities with aptitude in fostering long-term relationships
- Working knowledge of sales or account management software a plus (e.g. Salesforce)
