- Design and implement tests.
- Monitor the debugging process and define corrective actions.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
- Remain up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Review, analyze, and supplement requirement specifications, and ensure maximum test coverage.
- Work with the scrum team and product owner to build release plans while documenting feature contents of releases along with tracking the status and changes to the release plans.
- Creating and maintaining both UI and Server based test scripts.
- Implementing and maintaining high-quality software testing/engineering framework.
- Setting up functional, system, regression, and integration testing processes.
- Setting up automated and performance testing tools.
- Consult on best practices early on in development process.
Trình độ tối thiểu
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- Notable years of relevant experience in front-end and back-end mobile applications testing and web development.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Analytical Thinking. Data-driven mentality and strong business judgment. Able to roll-up your sleeves, get hands-on when necessary & analyze the data and pull key insights for your team.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities and general growth pains of a start-up.
- Working in rapidly-growing organizations, technology companies or start-ups is an advantage.
