- Actively participate in Sales and Operations Planning.
- A thought leader in developing end-to-end inventory and demand planning solutions. It is essential that you can think strategically, connecting the dots in the bigger picture, as well as being comfortable in the details of the deliverables
- Analyze forecasts of fleet inventory including seasonal promotions, incorporating all pertinent information to help obtain optimal results.
- Determine the forecast model that is most appropriate for each fleet based on product life, market trends, and seasonality.
- Identify and adjust safety stock levels based on product type, lead-time and run-rates.
- Review forecasts to identify outliers, communicate action plans and revise future forecasts.
- Promote continuous improvement of forecasting processes, procedures and policies.
- Quantify excess inventory and process dispositions on a monthly basis.
- Ensure that financial goals, turn and ending inventory objectives are met for the fiscal year and aligned with longer-term strategies.
- Engage in solution-based communication that ensures business needs are met, partnering withVehicle Supply, Marketing, Sales and Operations cross-functional teams to ensure strategies and plans are transparent and fully integrated, including but not limited to fleet productivity, demand variability, fleet availability, and marketing support.
- Create and maintain an up-to-date forecast and purchase plan for all new products and report on sales trends and inventory status upon launch to maximize sales, while minimizing inventory liabilities.
- Create and manage service parts and accessories forecast to support service demand, minimize freight costs, and optimize inventory levels.
Trình độ tối thiểu
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of working experience specializing in Inventory or equivalent is preferred for this position.
- The Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for working with the Acquisition and Disposal Team to develop and communicate strategic merchandise plans that support financial objectives while ensuring inventory is at an optimum level.
- The candidate must have a know-how in evaluating current market trends, sales-history, company marketing initiatives.
