Business Development Manager  

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to bolster Klook’s presence in Philippines and attract new travelers through business development and partnerships. You’ll be responsible for the negotiations and onboarding of travel products onto the Klook platform. You will have significant exposure to the Klook’s operating partners and will eventually be expected to to lead discussions and negotiate terms on behalf of Klook.

What you’ll do

• Familiar with travel related products, specifically on activities, tours, and transportation for Southeast Asia destinations, in particular Philippines.
• Conduct cold calls, clearly deliver Klook brand value to business partners and negotiate best deals.
• Develop and maintain profitable business relationship with partners in Asia markets.
• Work closely with Hong Kong and Shen Zhen product, editorial and operation teams to facilitate the onboarding of activities.
• Identify market trends and provide market & competitor analysis to optimize business strategies.
• Manage and lead a team of Assistant Business Development Managers to achieve the product excellence.

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in hospitality, business management or marketing preferred.
• 4-7 years product or marketing experience in hospitality industry. Travel agency, airlines, hotels & resorts is highly preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken in English.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communications skills.
• Confident, self-motivated and goal-oriented personality.
• Globally-minded and comfortable working with people from different cultural background.
• A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude that’s not afraid to work independently when required.
