Senior UX Engineer  

The Senior UX Engineer’s primary responsibility is to turn the customer’s interaction with QUADX products into a truly satisfying and valuable experience. The role involves translating business requirements into excellent user journeys that are designed to accomplish specific tasks that contribute to achieving business objectives. In the process, this creates the user experience, which then needs to be constantly evaluated and fine tuned.

• Transform business requirements into user-centric design concepts, task flows, screen designs, and interaction models.
• Study the business requirements of a product or service and figure out how to integrate the UX strategy in developing visual / design models that support both business and user needs.
• Design and develop complete user experiences with the software development teams.
• Engage and work with the project management and software development teams in producing the functional front-end experience (e.g. HTML, CSS, design/experience management, etc.).
• Engage user research applications, services, and or teams to test and improve conceptual design features.
• Work with the UX strategists and marketing teams to manage functional and behavioral user acceptance in order to fine tune the product or service, both of which are necessary for the desired experience to emanate from the core of the product.
• Apply innovative design techniques to streamline and improve user experiences
• Ensure that there is ample balance between user/usage data, known heuristics, and common trends in order to properly bake-in provisions for enhancements and ensure experiential longevity.

• 3-5 years of experience as Experience Engineer, UX|UI Designer or Interaction Designer within a medium to large-scale digital organization.
• Strong portfolio of design projects
• Track record in designing for B2C and B2B ecommerce, payment or logistics companies will be a huge advantage
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript for rapid prototyping and familiarity with responsive design methodologies
• Experience developing mobile responsive design / mobile applications
• Attention to visual details
• Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team
• Experience working with executive leadership preferably in an agency setting or with a corporate business
• Background in project management and research
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
