What do we do?

• Handles, break/fix, configuration issues, troubleshooting, software installations, hardware repair, database administration, and repair for server, network, infrastructure, email, file shares, and other infrastructure issues.
• Follows and Implements IT System changes and maintenance according to defined standards
• Maintains and Operates IT Systems onboard and at small offices in cooperation with Corporate IT
• Monitors IT Systems for security threats and weaknesses.
• Facilitates for Cyber Security Awareness amongst all employees.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT-related programs
• Proven skills and experience in BASH and Linux server administration
• Ability to work in US Pacific Hours and its business days
• Excellent communication skills
• Technically sound, curious, and analytical thinker

Required Skills

• Expertise in Linux Administration
• Network and Datacenter troubleshooting
• Remote Server management and monitoring
• Advanced shell scripting

Nice to Have Skills

• Hadoop Administration (Cloudera Manager)
• Git workflow and Puppet environment
• App Containerization
