Art Director  

The Art Director is a skilled, talented, and highly conceptual member of the creative team. Tasked to come up with insightful, strategic, brilliant, creative work, with fresh solutions that bring clarity to complex business challenges. Art Directors are also expected to be well versed in the production and the technical part of execution.

As a member of the creative team, the Art Director must support the Creative Director’s vision and process. Must also follow and support the ECD’s creative mandate, business mandate and culture mandate, as an integral supporter of company culture, ideals, and code of conduct. 


• In thinking of Quality Ideas - Be able to give quality output of strategic, fresh and creative big ideas. 

• In Executing Directions – Be able to understand the direction and builds of Supervisors.
• In Understanding the Brief & Meeting Business Objectives - Be able to fully understand the creative challenge and provide spot on creative solutions via deep understanding of client’s business and consumer challenges, their nuances, and insights.
• In Art Direction - Be able give fresh approach to executions from the agreed Big Idea. 

• In Crafting and Production – Be able to have the technical ability and fundamentals of Art Direction to craft and produce ideas/executions.
• In Creating Initiatives – Be able to develop Award Winning Work / Recognized Work 

• In Using Agency Framework - Be able to apply the creative brainstorm and output towards the Propel Manila Framework o In Co-selling Ideas – Be able to co-sell the idea to the client, and be present for questions during presentations. 

• In Being Nimble and Agile - Be nimble with builds work-around in dealing with client comments. 

• In Managing Your Time (No Delayed Work/ Meetings) – Be able to support the CD/ ACD in managing team’s load during the week; 

• In Team Operations – Be able to support the CD/ ACD in ensuring operational agility and on-time turnaround 
of output without sacrificing creativity.
• In Clearing Your Work – Be able to follow the proper Propel Manila clearing process o In Agency Processes – Be able to adhere to Agency’s policies and procedures

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Design, Multimedia Arts, Design or related degree
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a creative agency, or mix of in-house/creative agency experience
• Knowledgeable in strategic marketing campaign development
• Impressive portfolio of work – recognized creative work
• Strong understanding in all digital mediums including websites, apps, blogs, emails, video, and social channels – FB, IG, etc.
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office & Mac Office;
• Expertise Adobe Creative Suite – in particular, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Video, Typography, Illustration, and Google PPT, Keynote
• Knowledgeable in Video Editing, Photography, Commercial Production
• UX &UI design experience a plus, including responsive design for websites and mobile apps
