Senior Accounting Manager  

Summary:

The leading marketing company and local distributor of established international brands is currently looking for a Senior Accounting Manager. Based in Taguig, the company welcomes applications from highly-driven accounting professionals who aspire for a strategic career move.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver tight deadlines and multitude of accounting activities such as general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities
• Responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statement
• Support the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the accounting department
• Ensure an accurate monthly, quarterly, and year end close report and other monthly financial information
• Provide training to new and existing associates and regularly seek feedback on team’s performance from client base, and create and implement improvements to processes as needed
• Responsible for accuracy in financial reporting and meeting accounting deadlines

In order to be successful in this role, the candidate must have handled a large team of professionals and must have extensive years of exposure to various accounting facets. The candidates must have the following qualifications:

• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Fluency in the English language, both verbal and written
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and CPA license
• Intensive knowledge in financial analysis and management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, tax compliance, audit, bookkeeping
• Familiarity in different ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Pleasing and highly-adaptive personality
