As an Investment Associate, you will be exposed in the following practice areas:
- Investments
- Deal sourcing + qualification
- Screens deals; Supports meetings with inbound opportunities
- Supports diligence:
- Financial / returns analysis
- Reference checks
- Business model / strategy assessment
- Industry research
- Portfolio Development
- Review company operational and financial reports in detail, to support investment team in making strategic recommendations
- Support portfolio company business checkpoints and mentoring
- Strategy and Innovation
- Trendspotting and focused industry / sector forums
- Stays abreast of latest developments in the venture space, for relevant regions and sectors
- Ecosystem Development
- Investor community development
- Relationship-building with startups and the greater startup ecosystem
Trình độ tối thiểu
- At least two (2) years of management consulting, product marketing, or country operations experience;
- Strong business acumen and can understand financial models, financial statements, and accounting principles;
- Data-driven and has high attention to detail
- Can work in challenging situations and different personalities
- Has strong "spidey" sense and can derive insights from multiple data
