IKEA BUSINESS INTERIOR DESIGN PLANNER  

In order to secure relevant, functional, aesthetic and commercial business furnishing solutions in furniture layout planning proposals made to IKEA Business customers, we are looking for an Interior Design Planner who will report to our IKEA Business Manager.

YOUR ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Maintain and enhance a deep knowledge of people's life at work and translate this knowledge into relevant, functional, aesthetic and commercial business furnishing solutions.
2. Provide furniture layout plans that surprise, inspire and are commercially attractive to business customers, encouraging the timely execution of the project whenever possible.
3. Provide furniture layout plans that support and enhance the IKEA brand.
4. Balance the requirements of individual clients with the need to serve as many clients as possible, by adhering to business rules about service levels and company efficiency expectations.
5. Act quickly to exploit commercial opportunities and remain closely conscious of how actions can affect IKEA BUSINESS’s financial results.
6. Actively seek post-project feedback from a range of clients.

1. Strong interest in home furnishing and life at work
2. Experience of working in the furniture industry, preferably possess an interior design-based education
3. Creative and commercial visual competence with a keen eye for aesthetics.
4. Competence to sell through understanding a customer’s needs
5. Understand life at work in the local market
6. Ability to cross-sell across product ranges
7. Ability to communicate confidently and clearly
8. Ability to negotiate successful outcomes in a commercial context
9. Proven ability to prioritise and organise work and the work of others in order to make the most efficient use of time available and meet agreed goals and deadlines.
10. Strong personal alignment with the IKEA values
11. Proficient on Autocad and Sketch up
12. Fluent in spoken and written English
