Server Administrator  

Plans, implements, administers and optimizes server infrastructure & server based controls to achieve stable and high performance applications and other related services delivers to external and internal customer . Acquires, configures and maintains physical and virtual servers in production, pre-production and developmental environment, this also includes servers for internal applications (ex. HR and others)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain physical server hardware and Operating System (OS) in the approved level depending on the environment
• Maintains & tests accurate backups.
• Addresses simple to moderately complex issues related to server platform.
• Works closely with other team/departments to ensure that the supported servers and other software supporting the applications are performing in an optimal manner and updated as scheduled.
• May be required to work with vendors or external customers.
• Responsible for disaster recovery planning & business continuity of supported infrastructure including but not limited to servers and other devices
• Works with other IT team members to ensure that servers & network infrastructure are installed in the data centers according to the application requirements based on the initial capacity planning
• Work with hardware vendors/on-site data center engineer for any hardware related issues
• Perform after hours on-call duties on a rotational basis.

• Must possess a college degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/ or equivalent.
• Must have 4+ years' experience of Information Technology Support and server administration.
• Proven ability to fix moderate to complex issues related to hardware and software. Windows, Linux Server, or VM certification(s) preferred.
• Must be willing to work in Eastwood, Quezon City.
