Senior Logistic Officer  

• The job holder is responsible for liaising and coordinating with suppliers, forwarder, transporters and warehouse on shipments.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow up with suppliers to enable timely P.Os delivery on the pre-determined date.
• Provide regular and accurate status reports on the progress of P.O Orders by means of appropriate tracking tools.
• Focused cost-effective delivery, minimizing logistics costs by consolidate orders in key ports.
• Review freight rates for air, Sea, courier, and land.
• Perform, organizing, shipping and delivering goods worldwide in smooth, timely and cost-effective manner.
• Prepare shipping documents and invoices.
• Notify the vessel, purchaser, Technical Superintendent and the port agent of deliveries that have been arranged for upcoming calls.
• Monitor and update the company warehouse spare parts inventory records.

• Candidate must possess a Diploma/Degree in Logistics discipline or other relevant qualification;
• At least 3-year work experience in Logistics and freight forwarding experience or in other related fields;
• With good analytical, problem solving, time management and decision making skills.
• Ability to work independently;
• Resilient and able to work in a challenging environment in which flexibility and responsiveness is essential;
• Demonstrate teamwork and excellent strong organizational skills.
• Able to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in order to meet established deadlines;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• A competent IT skill is required;
• Capable of working in an international environment;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel);
• Familiar with Incoterms and experience in arranging Air and Ocean Freight.
