Commercial Kitchen Designer

Dynamic Hospitality Consulting Firm based in Metro Manila, Philippines, with a top notch hospitality F&B design department, seeks a motivated & enthusiastic Commercial Kitchen Designer for our Kapitolyo Office. Our hospitality design scope is diverse and includes hotels, resorts, restaurant chains, casinos, and commissary kitchens. The best candidate for this position will have experience with and demonstrated interest in projects of this type. This individual must be energetic and ready for a challenging career in a fast-paced industry.

Responsibilities:

• Represents the firm well with clients and other consultants
• Initiates, develops and coordinates food service design concepts appropriate to the project
• Liaises with the clients/operators food service team
• Manages all food service communication with the in-house team until project is handed over to in-house project team
• Exhibits flexibility and creativity in overcoming food service design obstacles and problem solving
• Attends client meetings in the design development stages

POSITION REPORTS TO: Company Owner/Design Principal

• Excellent knowledge of all the major aspects of the foodservice design & kitchen equipment industry from initial flows to the construction drawing process.
• Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit. Experience with Revit is important – however candidates without Revit experience can be trained.
• Experience should include flow studies, equipment layouts, solving M&E challenges.
• Deep understanding of energy efficient and sustainable systems
• Relevant prior professional experience in similar companies is required (kitchen equipment supplier or kitchen design firm)
• Strong design, management, delivery skills and demanding of themselves
• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
