Japanese Bilingual Game Walkthrough Team Lead  

A Japanese Bilingual Game Walkthrough Team Lead acts as the direct support of Game8 Global Inc.’s company president. Tasks and responsibilities include:

- selecting games to develop content for. This includes thorough research of which games are in trend or forecasted to be in high demand, being able to monitor information regarding updates of either notable games or newly developed games and keeping up to date with the release of new game consoles.

- guiding and directing groups of technical writers on how to design, publish, and maintain numerous forms of technical documentation for internal and external use as well. External documentation includes web articles such as player instructions, troubleshooting tips, and open source developer manuals.

- ensuring that the technical writers update documentation to consistently reflect new information. Most important to this task is constant communication with in-house members, engineers and programmers, as well as judicious research.

- writing translating and editing game strategy articles from Japanese to English or to comply with the client’s needs.

-translating documents from English to Japanese or vice versa as requested by the company president

• A bachelor's degree holder
• Has experience or knowledge with current Gen Games
• Must have a talent for translating complex technical information into easily understood instructions
• Proficiency in English: Native Level
• Proficiency in Japanese: N1-N2 JLPT Level (JLPT Certificate Required)
• Interested in gaming (mobile, PC, game consoles)
• Able to communicate effectively within all levels of organization
• Must have skills in gaming and IT related tasks with proven technical writing ability
• Proficient in the use of common word processing software and page layout applications.
• Must have basic understanding of SEO
• Able to be keep up with fast paced environment
• Must have leadership skills & experience
• Intermediate Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Powerpoint
• Systematic, organized and able to work under pressure
• Preferably 2-5 years experience
• Must have strong & stable internet connection
• Amenable to work in Ortigas, Pasig City
