- Prepare Design Plan for each design
- Carry out preliminary design review to identify all relevant input data, applicable requirements, potential structure types, methods and estimated quantities
- Carry out detailed design to a level appropriate to the design brief producing calculations and necessary drawings and sketches in accordance with program requirements. Take account of hazards and risks during design development
- Supervise production of detailed drawings
- Review design with interested parties (Client, Engineer, Project Staff, Government Bodies)
- Obtain necessary approvals from authorities
- Prepare specifications detailing outline methods, construction materials, construction equipment
- Update design to account for construction changes and problems
- Monitor construction work, as necessary, to make sure that it is progressing according to the design
- Evaluate designs once the construction is completed
- Provide advice on design and other technical matters as required
- Liaise with Design Subcontractors
Trình độ tối thiểu
- At least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
- 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Structural Design Engineer
- Experience in designing of pre-stressed concrete is an advantage
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Good technical knowledge in construction and of construction materials
- Strong sense of responsibility and ethics
- Knowledge and experience in use of Autocad and other design softwares
- Able to communicate directly with staff at all levels within and outside the organization
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Detail-oriented and well-organized
