CADD Operator | Civil | Structural  

This is an office-based assignment at the Project Management Office in Muntinlupa City.

• Understand the equations, calculations, and written instructions from designers and engineers before beginning a CADD drawing.
• Obtain sketches or specifications from an architect, engineer, or other designers, and translate them into detailed CADD drawings that can be used as the basis for a construction project.
• Create finished designs for a project, working primarily from the specifications and other inputs of lead designers.
• Revise drawings based on instructions from engineers or architects.
• Review engineering data to ensure compliance with the original design plans.
• Ensure designs meet required safety, civil and structural standards.
• Generate solid and surface CADD models using Autodesk Revit software.
• Develop presentations utilizing 3-dimensional using Autodesk 3D Max software.
• Complete designs and layouts for complete systems and components of a project.
• Perform layouts and designs of complex systems and equipment applicable to the respective discipline.
• Ensure compliance with required specifications, tolerances, safety factors and client requirements.
• Understand and apply commonly used company design standard and methods.
• Collaborate with civil and structural designers to ensure quality of design.
• Design and prepare As-built and revising mark-ups of civil and structural assemblies.
• Take responsibility for defined tasks within prescribed limits.
• Ensure quality and efficiency for assigned tasks and deliverables.
• Actively work on high-level tasks and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prepare for regular project team meetings pertaining to project tasks, deliverables, and milestones.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Ability to think critically, innovate, and solve challenging technical problems.
• In-depth knowledge on detailing of civil and structural designs.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities, including preparing and giving presentations.
• More than 5 years of experience in CADD operating work for civil and structural design.
