Civil Design Engineer  

This is an office-based assignment at the Project Management Office in Muntinlupa City.

• Manage civil design works, research applicable design criteria, attend project meetings, communicate with members of the project team, and report progress to the Design Coordinator.
• Coordinate all technical and administrative elements of each allocated design project to ensure all work is delivered in a professional, effective, and efficient manner while applying sound engineering principles.
• Manage investigations into various types of road and drainage engineering matters and prepare technical reports and cost estimates recommending appropriate actions to provide the most efficient and cost-effective solutions to at times complex problems.
• Prepare drawing packages for all stages of projects from initial concept, studies, and site plan approval through permitting, bidding, and construction.
• Understand local zoning ordinances' impacts on the development of site layouts.
• Develop cost-effective design layouts based on specifications and requirements.
• Analyze design issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform civil design analysis and calculations according to project requirements.
• Consider health, safety, and environmental requirement when developing civil designs.
• Ensure quality and efficiency for assigned tasks and deliverables.
• Actively work on high-level tasks and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prepare for regular project team meetings pertaining to project tasks, deliverables, and milestones.
• Review shop drawings and samples to ensure drawings and finishes match specifications.
• Revisit designs and make adjustments to designs as needed.
• Liaise with various professionals and departments to coordinate project details.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related fields.
• Must have a current license to practice from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
• Demonstrate experience, knowledge, and skills in designing roads, utilities, and site development using Autodesk Civil 3D, BIM 360 Cloud, and other design software.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Communication and project management skills.
• More than 5 years experience in design and construction projects.
