Construction Project Manager  

• Managing parts of construction projects
• Overseeing building work
• Undertaking surveys
• Setting out sites and organizing facilities
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Supervising contracted staff
• Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
• Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
• Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials
• Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to Site engineers work out on a construction site in all weathers and tend to work on one project at a time. Depending on the location of the project.
• Red-Line drawings MUST be updated DAILY
• Personal inspection of all construction and engineering work daily for workmanship, compliance and safety
• Daily Operations Meeting with Site Staff and subcontractors to be completed every morning
• Daily Production Reports completed and submitted no later than 1:00pm next day
• Daily QC Reports completed and submitted no later than 1:00pm next day. Site Engineer concurrence is required on QC and Safety Reports
• Daily QC Reports completed and submitted no later than 1:00pm next day. Site Engineer concurrence is required on Daily QC and Daily Safety Reports
• Production Log Book completed and Signed Daily
• Ensure ENDEC Builder’s Level and Transit are set up and checked daily.
• Schedule status updated every day. Update Project Activities with accurate start, finish and percent accomplishment every day.
• Submit CSIR for Significant Incidents
• Site security check competed every day
• Site housekeeping check completed every day
• Submit RFIs as required and RFI log checked and updated daily
• Maintain frequent phone contact with ENDEC CM staff daily

(i)at least a degree in Bachelor of Science in Architecture or Civil Engineering

(ii) must have a current license to practice from the Professional Regulation Commission of the Philippines;

(iii) at least seven (7) years of experience in the design, contract procurement, and construction supervision including value engineering/value analysis;

(iv) experience in build-back-better-ng design of the Department of Education and Department of Public Works and Highways;

(v) preferably has experience in construction project in the Eastern Visayas region or areas with the same geographical and economic characteristics.
