KEY OBJECTIVE:
To acquire new users and improve user growth by building, managing, and growing the marketing department of Edukasyon.ph
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Total marketing management from strategy development to planning to implementation of both B2C and B2B
● Development and launch of competitive marketing products in consideration of target users and client channels with sizeable revenue at a positive margin
● Build Edukasyon brand as the Filipino youth’s main source of info for all their learning, career and other educational needs that can positively impact platforms user base and financial position
● Champion deep understanding of target user across all functions
● Set overall B2C marketing objective, strategy, and implementation plan for the company
● Review and manage marketing strategy of 4 verticals- creatives, digital marketing, research, and events
● Identify and monitor KPIs for the marketing department such as but not limited to user acquisition, user growth, engagement, reach, cost per acquisition, etc.
● Work with internal and external stakeholders in executing effective, impact-driven B2C marketing initiatives
● Represent the marketing department in Management Committee discussions, investor relations, and other high-level engagements
● Manage recruitment, training, retention, and performance of the department
● Lead administrative, operational, and financial decisions concerning the department
● Conduct market research, competitor analysis, forecasting, and related studies to ensure data-driven decision-making
● Recommend strategies to optimize the marketing department’s capacity, efficiency, and quality
● Safeguard Edukasyon’s tone, branding, and values across all marketing initiatives

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 10 years work experience specifically in the field of marketing (digital marketing and brand management)
- Background in advertising, marketing, digital marketing, or digital media is required
- Has managed a brand with financial accountabilities
- Has managed a brand’s social account that includes development of creative material and digital marketing
- Has developed product/s in line with target user understanding, tech product preferred but not mandatory
- Has developed and launched a successful brand/product with an integrated marketing campaign, preferably tech product but not mandatory
- Has handled a team of creatives (at least 2 direct reports) for at least 3yrs
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven track record in achieving KPIs and managing cross-functional teams
- Passionate about educatio
- Highly organized, motivated self-starter, data-driven, and abreast of market trends
