Quality Assurance Specialist  

Daily Activities

• Evaluate results obtained during production trial of new and or improved products.
• Evaluate samples of raw material for possible replacement or as an alternative to the existing ones
• Establish product specifications and attributes
• Coordinate with the production in conducting experiment trials
• Document process flow and programs implemented by R&D Team
• Ensure execution of standards established by R&D Department
• Properly file accomplished R&D monitoring forms.
• Inspect batching of spices prior to production use.

Occasional Activities

• Engage in any activities, trainings, and seminars that will enhance abilities and knowledge in research and development.
• Conduct refresher course on product knowledge.
• Conduct complete analysis and study for shelf – life determination of existing products.
• Engage in the development of customized product base on client's preference.
• Revise R&D guidelines and procedures.

Annual Activities

• Conduct audit together with audit team, of technical disciplines - GMP , SSOP, and Food safety to verify that suppliers are in conformance to applicable requirements.

Perform other duties may be assigned relative to quality and safety issues.

• Graduate of Food Technology, BS Nutrition and Dietetics, BS Biology or any related course.
• Preferably female.
• At least 1 year experience working as R&D Specialist in food manufacturing plant, especially in meat processing plant.
• Advanced training in HACCP/GMP is a plus.
• Can work under minimal supervision.
• Has initiative and self-discipline.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
